was very excited to be a part of the Norway Day Festival on 5th of May at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. I was there performing different kinds of cooking demonstrations and of course made some delicious Scandinavian food. I prepared a stake with creamy potato and mustard hash garnished with dill and crispy bacon. I also did fried crusted salmon with summer vegetables served with crayfish tails. For refreshment I did some flavored waters. I was also there to talk about a Dupuytren’s contracture. I teamed up with Auxilium Pharmaceuticals to raise awareness throughout Facts on Hand program. Olin tosi innoissani, että sain olla mukana Norway Day Festivaleilla San Franciscossa. Tein siellä kokkausdemoja ja tottakai valmistin herkullista skandinaavista ruokaa. Valmistin pihvin kermaisella peruna-sinappihakkeluksella koristettuna tillillä ja rapealla pekonilla. Valmistin myös paistettua kuorrutettua lohta tarjoiltuna jokiravun pyrstöillä. Virkistykseksi tein maustettuja vesiä. Olin siellä myös puhumassa sairaudesta nimeltä Dupuytren’s contracture.
