Oysters are one of my favorite foods and I wanted to check out a well-known restaurant Swan Oyster Depot when I was in San Francisco in the beginning of May. The oysters were just heavenly good and I also tasted a variety of other seafood. I struggled to get inside before their closing time, but then I just smiled and blinked my eyes a little and thank god, I got a piece of paper that said ”last one”. Haha, I still have that

paper, it became a nice memory … A small minus about the restaurant is that prior to get inside you have to wait in a queue and it can easily take an hour. You will easily get to know some fun people in the queue and the place has a good atmosphere and good service, so it was worth it. It was a really tasty afternoon with oysters and my new friends.

Oisterit ovat yksi suosikkiruoistani ja ollessani San Franciscossa toukokuun alussa halusin tsekata tunnetun ravintolan Swan Oyster Depotin. Oisterit olivat ihan taivaallisen hyviä ja maistoin muitakin erilaisia mereneläviä. Mulla kävi aika täpärästi, sillä en meinannut päästä sinne sisään ennen sulkemisaikaa, mutta sitten hieman hymyilin ja räpsyttelin silmiä ja thank god, sain paperin jossa luki “last one”. Hehe, minulla on vieläkin paperi tallella, siitä tuli mukava muisto… Pieni

miinus paikassa on se, että ennen sisälle pääsyä on yleensä tosi pitkä jono ja siinä helposti voi mennä tuntikin. Jonossa tulee kyllä helposti tutustuttua hauskoihin ihmisiin ja mestassa oli hyvä tunnelma ja hyvää palvelua, eli oli sen arvoista. Oli tosi maukas iltapäivä kera ostereiden ja uusien ystävien.
