Melbourne is a colorful city with a relaxed atmosphere and it is bursting with inspiring restaurants and cafes. The long sandy beaches are also to die for!
My favorite spot in Melbourne is definitely Queen Victoria Market. It is a food market and one of the most famous attractions of the city. Queen Victoria Market is a food mekka and the soul of Melbourne, and you can really find all the best ingredients there. I got so many new ideas for my recipes from there! I also got to taste many local flavours that I had not tasted ever before.
Melbourne is the second biggest city of Australia and its populations is 4,5 million people. Even though it is a huge metropol, the city has its own laid-back vibe. It definitely is a mixture of everything; it has a hint of New York, a dash of London, some Los Angeles, a little bit of Toronto.. The Asian influence is clearly visible as well.
Melbourne is built around the harbor, and its beaches play an important role in everyday lives of the local people. The beautiful sandy beaches are not only for tanning and swimming; people really do a lot of outdoor activities there, too. My favorite beach in Melbourne is Brighton Beach and its 82 colorful bathing boxes!
Suosikkipaikkani Melbournessa on ehdottomasti Queen Victoria Market.
